FishCart Installer***: 3.2 RC2 (GUI installer; zip format; includes FishCart source) Community support for the Installer is available via the fishcart@fishcart.org support list. If you only have FTP access to your Web site, the Installer is your best choice. The Installer is also the easiest way to install FishCart into a template of your own design.
*** requires the Sun Java 1.4.1 or later JRE or JDK, available for download from Sun's Java Site; click on the "Get It Now" button in the upper right of the page to select the JVM for the platform you are currently running on.

Run the command above to extract the tar file into a "./fishcart_v3" directory. Recommended initial installation is in /usr/local, though it can be installed anywhere. The README and INSTALL files in the "./fishcart_v3/docs" directory will describe the installation process more fully.

To run the FishCart Installer, download it and unzip the file into a directory of your choosing; the files will be extracted in a directory called "fc_installer". Read the GETTING_STARTED.TXT file for more information.

As of 3.1, FishCart is compliant with current PHP installation standards; register_globals and magic_quotes no longer need to be turned on! Many, many other changes have been made to add new features and capabilities, fix tiny bugs, and improve FishCart's appearance.
