Search Engine Optimization

Ben has added significant improvement in the ability of FishCart to manage search engine meta data, including meta keywords and description and the HTML <title> tag. This is done for the index page, as well as the display page when showing a category and a specific product. There are default entities that can be set at the web site level, category level, and product level. This has been installed and tested on a live FishCart selling products and we are seeing the results already in Google.

We continue to add PHP class functionality to modularize the code. This has already begun to and will continue to make the code more readable.

I am astonished that you have thought of search engine meta tags support, impressive, really. I normally just would hand out another page to the robots with the meta tags (and perhaps more), but this way you open up for updated search info.

Thank you for a nice weblog and downloads!
