As of today, it is now possible to add a customer into the customer table without requiring a purchase. This is done by accessesing http://YOURSITE.TLD/CARTDIR/subscrip_mgmt.php once their the customer can fill out the form and submit it. They will receive an email at the address given with instructions to follow a link back to your site to confirm subscription. Once confirmed their customer record will have a promoemail flag of 4 which identifies them as a new customer with no purchases.
